We are outraged by religious hypocrisy. I like Dave Rose's religion because he lives what he preaches since he is clearly a very good guy. I respect BYU football players who are outwardly religious if they sacrificed two years to serve a mission. That is one of the biggest sacrifices someone can make, especially since it often hurts their NFL stock.

What does upset me is players whom are put up as examples who really shouldn't be. Players like Max Hall speaking at firesides, when he went home after 4 months of a mission, or players like Jake Heaps who said, "My mission is to play QB to BYU," (when asked if he would be serving a 2 year LDS mission.) I'm not saying that those guys are bad people, but I wouldn't have them as the main speaker of a fireside telling impressionable 12-18 year old males how to live their lives, given the fact that it is a commandment for every worthy young male to serve a mission.
