He passes the eye test. He's big and athletic looking. He has skinny legs (high calfs) and looks like he can run pretty well. He has a strong upper body too. I watched him throw the football 70 yards in the air to the kids at his station (punt, pass and kick), so maybe he can be the emergency backup qb lol.
He told me that he participated in Spring Ball but had nagging RM type injuries (muscle strains IIRC). He said he was all better from those issues now though and that he expected to get some playing time this season at receiver. He said it in a way that he seemed really confident in his abilities as a receiver-- i.e. he would not need to move to tight end. I could definitely see him being a good T.E. though.
