Why do people think starting your own thing is risky?
I've been an employee, and now I am a business owner.
I had a TON more risk as an employee. You can be let go at any moment, even as a high-performer.
As a business owner I hold my destiny in my own hands. Couldn't possibly feel more secure about where I'm at and what I'm doing. It's awesome.
