I had an interesting exchange w/one of the in-laws.

He went to the University of Wyoming and was good friends w/two players on the team a few years back. He told me that one of his buddies refused to do any type of drugs/take steroids, etc. The team/coach knew this, SO, it ended up that he somehow was chosen for approximately 90% of the "random" drug tests over his years of eligibility.

There were several other Wyoming FB players that my in-law personally saw at parties, etc. who would be openly smoking weed, because they knew they weren't going to be tested. My in-law (who's in sports medicine and physical therapy) said that there were other players using steroids, and all sorts of other performance enhancing stuff.

His takeaway was that if dinky little Wyoming had such a culture of corruption, he could only imagine what life is like at the Alabamas and Florida States out there.

All anecdotal and third-hand, but it was very surprising to me.
