I'm simply refuting your argument that Utah has never played
ranked teams from BCS leagues at RES. If your argument was teams that finished ranked, that is a different argument, and one that is also false.
If you really think getting UCLA and Pitt to RES are the biggest OOC games in Utah history then your memory isn't all that great.
They played Cal in '03 (finished 3rd in the PAC 10), Texas A&M in '04 (ranked 22nd going into their bowl game), Oregon St in '08 (finished the year ranked 18th), etc. In the 90s they had teams like Oregon, Kansas, and Arizona come to town.
