The Oregon State game being one of the few exceptions where the D did not step up. Even after the OSU debacle, BYU is still ranked #7 in points scored against this season. Last season the D was also solid. These are major improvements if you go back to before Bronco took over.

Also, we have had very few players making bad decisions off the field, especially when compared to Crowton and Lavell. Bronco has really cleaned up the program in that regard, and certainly the lack of embarrassing incidents has made the LDS Church happy, which goes a long way at BYU.
