Utes gymnastics would be blown up if this happened today:
1. 30 something year old coach recruits an 18 year old female athlete to compete for the team. She has a successful and storied career.
2. Immediately following graduation the then 35 year old coach starts dating the athlete and offers her a job as an assistant coach.
Ironically, the lone Utah sports team that is currently seeing any form of success is built on this shaky foundation. Bobby Petrino longs for the pre-internet days.
