and brave a 50% chance of interception, or tuck and run for a near-sure gain? He has opted for the near-sure gain almost all the time. Detmer, Hall, Sarkisian, Beck, etc. were all BYU greats as a result of their willingness to take the risk of interception. They trusted their recievers to battle for the 50/50 ball, and often times they came out with big plays. THill has an entirely different skillset/strength than most of the BYU greats. He's a very good QB, with the running skills/speed of Luke Staley. Hard to fault him for wanting to use his uniqueness to be successful. Trouble is, he puts himself in higher risk of injury. Here's to hoping he finds even better balance than he was trying for last year.
