Warner and DP talked about how Favre "just had it" when it came to playing the game. Once he got between the lines, he could flat out play and get the job done.
But DP did note that, of all of the Packer QBs at the time, Ty might have been the most accomplished (when taking into account college). Favre was just coming into his own, Warner was coming from the arena league and Brunell hadn't really done much yet. At least Ty had won the Heisman. You can argue with his comparison of what the others had done in the NFL yet vs. Ty's college days, but what he did talk about was complimentary to Ty.
