Honestly, I doubt he was offered any staff position. Maybe Anae is just that gracious--but really, one of your top priorities as a coordinator is to establish a unified staff. I therefore just don't see how Doman woulda been extended that offer. Sounds to me like a save-face statement fed to the press.
