I still contend that he takes too many bad shots. He's 43 percent for the year, which is acceptable for a freshman, but he would be a few percentages higher if he didn't force so many long 3s. He's also only averaging 2 assists per game because he looks to shoot first. I think his shoot first game is modeled after Jimmer and Carlino. That's great when you're a good shooter, but I hope he improves his shot selection and assists.
I think byu will benefit from having Haws next year as a better distributor.
