...increase your emergency preparedness. We have 3 propane tanks that we rotate, so we never run out and always have 2 full tanks in reserve in case of an emergency. It won't help today, but a good suggestion for the future.

BTW, we also store charcoal brickettes as an alternative cooking/fuel source... If you have some around, could you finish the steaks with charcoal?
