Nobody has even mentioned the best feature for image quality: Dynamic range.
then comes sharpness.

And processed bokeh? Gaussian blur is not bokeh. If you are great with photoshop, you can get away with it, but I have yet to see anything compare to an 85mm 1.4 lens stepped down to about F2.0.



Don't get me wrong...convenience is a huge factor. Lately I've been getting more use out of my Olympus Tough TG2 due to the form factor. Any shot is better than no shot, and sometimes the DSLR gear is a tad too big and cumbersome.
