I love them but still consider them a half step down in lengendary status

Others that may make the cut above U2: the Who, Grateful Dead. Not talking quality, but universally recognized as great rockers. Again don't get me wrong I've seen them 9 times by my count. Great music, great show. But a bit lower than those legends.
