Before De La Torre got the ball a great flick was made through the defensive line to break him open. Sargent's controlling touch off the nice pass from De La Torre was a thing of a beauty.

I was extremely impressed by the US in this game. Their passing in tight spaces was close to elite. Can't say enough good about it. Senegal was a very fast team with some very nice skill that was more than just flash. However, our back line mostly held them in check. That is the sort of team that usually scores 3 goals on a US Team. Very encouraging. The game deteriorated badly the last 25 minutes, but before that it was great by the US.
