It just takes those who DO follow CB to tweet things about what is said on CB. We know for certain that MANY of the Utah Sports media check CB at least occasionally, some even have their own accounts. The conversation here becomes quite public once media members start tweeting about rumors and contacting family to verify.

When that happens, kids who are considering options are suddenly forced to make a statement to friends and family (or their friends and family are put on the spot to make statements for them). They may not be following CB, but those who do, put them on the spot because they want to break the news first.

Is CB at fault? Not really.
Is CB just being CB as a fan message board? Yep.
Is it CB's responsibility to prevent media member's from following leads? Nope, not at all.

But, could CB help to prevent the problem by avoiding certain conversations? Absolutely.
