They were my neighbors growing up.

Those type of neighbors who lived in the same ghetto neighborhood as you, but somehow their parents found ways to always take the whole big family of 7 on vacations all the time and have good season tickets to BYU games.

Yeah I was jealous.

Anyways, whenever I think of that game I always remember that family coming home that night wearing all these cool Miami vs BYU shirts and describing to me how amazing it was.

There dad and my dad actually worked at the same company so we kept in touch through the years.

Around 2005ish they switched from BYU fans to Ute fans because some of the boys went to school their(not to play sports) and because they hated Bronco's whole schtick.

Lost all respect for them.

Don't know why I'm telling this story.
