for defending him from some posts I thought crossed the freak show line.
I also understand your position in the media (maybe better than most). It's important to not be a huge homer for the alma mater. We get that credibility is important. I love your film breakdowns, especially. Here's where I have a problem with the current situation and where you are today in the eyes of many BYU fans.
The last 6-7 yrs it's become cool to poke fun at BYU in a very mocking and demeaning way. There were opportunities for you to soften that narrative or at least provide some balance. You didn't. Some times you even went along w/ it and deepened the issue. No one expects a homer (we have Ben, Blaine, & Greg for that) but there's a lot of room for respectful criticism without being a hater. I think some of us believe you crossed that line a number of times.
If you want to appologize and try to earn some respect back, fine. But don't act like these reactions are undeserved or coming from no where.
As far Mo goes, cover him however you wish. That's your job. Just know there are people who will want info on his development not b/c we expect big things right away but b/c it's a fascinating story.
