Stats don't tell the whole story. If you watch the first few minutes of the video here, there was a play near the goal line that is a perfect example. The play goes to the right and and OL pulls out as a lead blocker. Instead of cutting off the block, the running back literally runs into his own blocker. The running back is a physical specimen and he made his offense of line men go flying. But the lucky defender is standing there and is able to make a much easier tackle.

He may have improved since last year, but typically running back vision is something you either have or don't have.
