Hill wouldn't have come close to being a finalist.
A lot of people need to snap out of the goggle view. Trevone Boykin went 11-1 with like 4000 yds passing and 33 TDs, plus 700 rushing and 8 TDs, and he didn't come close to making the top 3.
Dak Prescott had a killer year and was 10-2. Barrett and his team at 12-1. The list goes on. Hill wouldn't have come close. Not only did people not really care to pay attention to anyone outside of Mariota at the top, they definitely wouldn't have recognized a BYU guy who didn't do anything better than the other guys who didn't come close to scratching being a real "contender."
