The HCBW and I were driving in a rental car in a strange town. She had accompanied me on a business trip and we stayed the weekend. Pre-smart phone days but we had cell phones by this time.
This was back when you could cal 411 to get a number but it was after the time that verizon/ATT/Sprint had added their own 411 operator service so they could nickle and dime you on 411 calls. It was like a buck or a couple bucks each time you called 411.
We were stopped at a red light and kind of lost so I put it on speaker phone and called 411 to get the number of whatever restaurant or where ever we were going. The operator answers "ATT connect....This is Mulva"....the HCBW and I look at each other, and then just loose it laughing. I felt so bad for the lady but I just had to hang up. I got answered by Mulva again once more a couple weeks later on a 411 call.
