Totally agree
It's four reasons for me.

1) Unfair playing field. It is the only team sport in history where you can finish a season undefeated and not be the undisputed champion.

2) Fake amateurism: It's a professional sport league except that they don't pay the players. And with that being the case, I just would rather watch the NFL. My interest in the NFL has grown at the same pace that my interest in college football has decreased.

3) Exploitation: With college football making so much money, that money is primarily flowing to administrators and university coffers. The players are what generate the actual value and many of them come from lower class and minority families. It is pure exploitation at this point for players to receive such a small piece of the pie especially considering the physical toll the sport can take on them. I don't care if the compensation is in the form of long-term annuity streams or lump-sum payments, but the exploitation is immoral.

4) Recruiting: It's gross to have a sport built on the foundation of old men winning popularity contests with teenage boys.

I still will follow and support our team, but my emotional investment is forever disaffected by these reasons. In years when we are good, the excitement will be a little bit higher, but I just feel like I have taken the "red pill" and I can't go back.
