The edge is referring to BYU in a derogatory and disrespectful way?
Is that how Lavell won through the 70's, 80's and 90's? Being disrespectful?
I think it had more to do with Utah sucking in general during that time...
Utah had one double digit win season when Lavell was at BYU... One in 29 years. They beat BYU that season in 1994.
Since that time they have had 6 double digit win seasons, 6 in 17 years. Utah is just a better opponent these days. One double digit season almost every 3 years.
