While I respect your views, I also think it's more about finding a spouse that
shares your interests, as with any hobby. I have plenty of friends who are still gamers in their adulthood, but so are their wives, and they enjoy it together. They have a good life balance, and are doing well. Seems like there are plenty of hobbies that cause friction in marriages, not just gaming.

And I can't blame your divorced friends for getting into gaming. I've been through a divorce, and it was a nice way to escape from the pain I was feeling. I've since broken out of that hole I was in, and I'm balancing my life with other activities, but I still enjoy some games every once in a while, usually with friends.
