During Christmas time Dyson was having blowout sales, like 50% off.
I believe they were refurbished models but still a deal. Costco sells them but I'm not sure what the cost is. We got ours for $350 or so about a year ago.
You can always drop to the V8 which is still great. Just a little smaller battery and not as powerful of suction but still awesome.
