It happened in the first five minutes of the game. I sat out on the sideline for 15 minutes until I felt the pain was tolerable. I stood up to try and walk around on it to test it out. At first I was able to limp and then getting more confident, increased my gate. The knee popped out and it was all kinds of horrible pain. So for me, at least, I couldn't have finished a ski run.
With that said, after two weeks, I was walking, climbing stairs, and feeling generally pain free (I wasn't running or anything). Nevertheless, I went and had my ACL (allograft for the ACL, and just "cleaning up" the MCL) and MCL surgically repaired (the LCL apparently wasn't damaged enough for them to do anything to it.).
