I attended Uvsc (UVU) from 2006-2008 (Beck to Harline and Collie is still open). My sister was a BYU student and hates sports. I used her email to purchase an all sports pass both years. Easy.

Went on a mission and transferred to BYU-Idaho. Had friends purchase the non-student sports pass (it was like $200) for me. I would drive down for games at the start of the season but as the losses piled up and my social life picked up it was just easier to stay in rexburg. Once I got married my wife and I did the same thing the season Texas came to provo. The difference was we bought the passes knowing that we just wanted to go to the Texas, Utah, and Boise State games. It was way cheaper than purchasing individual tickets for each game.

There is a way for non-BYU students to get student passes. It was easy.
