Captain Marvel is a just a bad movie. There is almost no character development of the hero in any way. She is portrayed as an austere Teflon Coated Uber powered world conquerer without weakness or even emotion. She may as well have been a robot.

They put too much into overdoing her girl empowerment that they sucked the fun and emotion out of it. The movie comes out flat and 2 dimensional.
