Church lived in my sister's ward. One day he was talking to my BIL, saying that they had finished work on the next year's budget and it had been approved. Then he said, "Guess how much the the total budget is?" My BIL kind of hesitated and the guy said "Aw, you'll never guess it" and changed topics. But from other things he said, the Church is well-funded; very secretive about actual budget details, careful to stay within budget, careful on what expenditures were approved in the budget, careful on investments, and has a "raining day" fund that will not be touched except in an emergency. The only concern he ever expressed was over the rapid growth of the Church in some of the poorer areas of the world where congregations are not able to be self-sustaining, contributing enough to pay for their buildings and their upkeep, but that was seen as a potential future worry that could be planned for.
So, yeah, the details of the budget and what money is taken from what source to be committed to what expenditure are not going to be made public.
