Kyle definitely is hyper-competitive. I imagine his temper is rough, but I haven't been one-on-one to see how he personally deals with people who one-up him or beat him. I'd hope that he'd not change, but my experience with hyper-competitive people is that once you become a genuine threat, you become the enemy and it is personal. I think this is why he can't still have love for BYU--his competitive nature won't let him find any good in the place so long as it is the rival of his current gig.
