But at least be honest about the grooming standards in the honor code. The beard and mustache standard I believe was written during the 60s, and glass reflects the the time in which they were written. Beards during the 1960's we're definitely a symbol of the counterculture which absolutely did represent many of the things that the LDS Church and the gospel we're against.
as a person who's had facial hair in one form or another for the last 22 years, I do think that the grooming standard is a bit antiquated as beards no longer have that same symbolic meaning, and I would not be surprised if it's changed in the near future, but to evoke Nazism in your criticism is not only disingenuous but it is ridiculous and historically deaf.
are you saying that missionaries because they have to adhere to a similar grooming standard, and one that is actually even more strict are somehow fascist or Nazi like?
