Which 3?
Here's the length of PAC 12 coaches. Assume anyone who's been somewhere 3 years or less is safe:

Utah- Whitt 15th year
Stanford- Shaw 9th year
WSU- Leach 8th year
UW- Petersen 6th year
USC- Helton 4th year
Cal- Wilcox 3rd year
Arizona- Sumlin 2nd year
ASU- Herm 2nd year
Oregon- Cristobal 2nd year
OSU- Smith 2nd year
UCLA- Kelly 2nd year
CU- Tucker 1st year

So the only coaches who've been around long enough to fire are Helton, Petersen, Leach, Shaw, and Whitt. Helton is probably getting fired after losing to BYU unless he wins the South. The rest are safe. Maybe Wilcox could be fired if the team fell apart, but Cal isn't the kind of place that usually fires a guy in his 3rd year.

So this year the PAC 12 probably only has 1 opening, USC, and they won't want Kalani. The Big 12 probably doesn't have any openings either

TCU- Patterson 18th year
OSU- Gundy 14th year
IA ST- Campbell 4th year
OU- Riley 3rd year (might be open if he leaves for the NFL, but they wouldn't look at Kalani either)
Texas- Herman 3rd year
Baylor- Rhule 2nd year
Kansas- Miles 1st year
KSU- Klieman 1st year
TTech- Wells 1st year
WVU- Brown 1st year

So I think Kalani is pretty safe this year. If he has a good year next year too, then you guys might start sweating, because one of the Arizona jobs is likely going to be open, plus maybe UCLA or Cal. Still, most of the PAC and Big 12 are at least a year, and in some cases two or three years, away from considering firing their coaches.

Now, if he's willing to go the Gary Anderson/Bronco Mendenhall route and head East, all bets are off. There will definitely be ACC and Big 10 jobs available.
