Successful coaches out recruit the school, out work the field, develop players, and out plan the competition. They also typically can burn out quickly, cross the line morally, and lose themselves in the search for wins.

The beauty of BYU is you can play top level ball without as much risk of ending up soulless. Recruiting needs to pitch that to the best players. I’m convinced Jwill KVN and Tasom get that.
