I thought Ware had a great point about packing the line in with tight splits.
Dont understand doing that repeatedly on short yardage. Line up the same as always. Why tip off the defense? Keep the splits as wide as always. It'll help open up holes and keep our options open for other plays.
The only reason I can see going with packed in close splits is to set up trick plays out of the same set later in the year.
But after they stuff it 3 times in one game, why keep going back?
