Not true. AP/Coaches polls aren't even on the data set. It's all NET
SOS, KPI, KenPom, Sagarin, Nitty gritty, road vs. home etc. AP is not part of the data set and any bracketologist will explicitly state AP/coaches polls don't matter. and are not even part of the data set. Read up on the process.
The results also confirm that the AP/coaches polls do not matter. Utah State/SMC have been excluded from the tourney as AP top 25 in the past.
