The movie industry seems to have more luck with his shorter stories.
I guess that makes sense in a way. It's much easier to fill in color on a sketch than it is to reproduce an intricately completed work.

I’m almost always disappointed in SK adaptations. They’ve been getting better (but The Stand has poor reviews).
