Normally yes, but not sure the “just win” mantra works in college bball anymore
The margin of victory in this game will have a real and lasting impact on the future of the team. Efficiency ratings are king in college basketball and largely dictate seeding in college basketball. It will have a real effect on our team’s success in the tourney.
Win by one and we might drop 10 spots in the NET and be back on the bubble. Win by 30 and we could move up 5 spots and get a better seed in the tourney.
