Only OB/GYNS would go through this type of training.
I did have to scrub on a botched abortion with a bowel injury. Saw and handled the dead fetus. It was awful.

No. In my experience elective D&Cs didn't happen much at academic hospitals. Never saw one.

1. It would only apply to OB/GYN and not general practitioners in even design.
