now because while trends are promising locally, things are still pretty up-in-the air globally.

It's easy to say "just move on" because it's inconvenient to wear a mask and COVID hasn't impacted you directly. I know it's inconvenient, I'm a school teacher and have to wear it every second I'm in the building, which is 10+ hours each day. I also live out in the country in a cowboy environment where almost no one wears a mask (my bishopric won't even wear them if the stake presidency isn't visiting that week).

But my father-in-law is dead because he associated with anti-maskers (got COVID from one of his children who insists that COVID is a hoax and you're only constitutionally free if you don't recognize the science behind masks and socially distancing). My youngest daughter has severe asthma and with the number of children getting COVID on the rise in many parts of the world I'm just not willing to risk it.

Go ahead and keep telling me to "move on" and I'll keep relying on science and good sense.
