Jay Rick Intervention Needed
As a former prosecutor, and current trial lawyer, yes, I’m aware of how sometime
sometimes disappointing these “peers” can be.

I’ll tell you that as a prosecutor, our idea always was that a dumb jury is better than a smart jury. You can always get that - you can’t just dismiss all the smart people. But you also don’t want to dismiss the dummies. Smart people overthink things and find “reasonable doubt” where there is none.

But this is also why I put “other college educated, mostly professional” in the OP. I think there are a lot of dumb people in the world. But they’re a different category of people than CB. So I was trying to think of similar demographics.
