By the time he retired, he had an excellent mid-range and was a very solid free throw shooter. He put in the work.
And the dude would run all day so I do think he probably could have developed at least a serviceable three-point shot, and had the gas to participate in a motion offense.
He'd also be an excellent center playing small ball.
By and large, I think any Hall of Famer from any era could play the game today. But of the two, I think Stockton would have just been all world in today's NBA. If he had come through the ranks with the three-point shot being as important as it is, couple that with all of the open space the modern NBA gives, and he would be just fine.
