I wanted to attend a concert in Phoenix during the summer of 2019. I had started working a new job in June and was staying in my brother-in-law’s spare bedroom. My wife was back in the Midwest with our kids waiting for our house to sell.

My favorite band was coming through town and they are pretty much the only group I go watch anymore. I don’t go to very many concerts but she usually says yes when I bring them up.

This time she said no because she had been stuck at home taking care of the kids by herself for the last month.

She agreed to let me go to a concert in Detroit in 2017, the BYU/Cincinnati game in 2016, the 1st 4 NCAA tournaments games in Dayton.
