She was disappointed with his decision because she wanted him to go out of
state to avoid meeting with his gang-involved friends. And had apparently told her he was going to Tennessee right up until the decision. At least that's what I've heard. That being said Tuscaloosa is closer to Pensacola than Gainesville so take it FWIW
