planning out our Australian vacation.  

Me: "Oh yes, we'll fly into Melbourne and we'll drive up the coast to Cairns, stopping for a few days in Sydney, Newcastle, etc. along the way before driving back down to Brisbane to fly home from there"

Google Maps: "That will be 60 hours of pure driving."

Me: "Okay, let's fly into Melbourne, fly up to Sydney, fly home from there.  We'll come back for the rest some other time."
