Vast majority of people would slot this player at forward.
He was indeed a great passer and a decent ballhandler. Those don't go away with him at the 3.
If you had Barcello, TJ Haws, KC, and Knell/George, who comes off the bench, and who starts at the 3?

If TJ had played for Pope for his full career, I think TJ would have been by far and away the best choice.
