This is nonsense
Ross is a great guitarist but Ed Roland is Collective Soul.
Joel Kosche is a great guitarist and was their guitar tech when Ross was in the band. Joel was an excellent fit and with him they made Youth which is possibly their best album. Current guitarist Jesse Triplett is also a good fit and can easily cover Ross's parts.

They had good albums after, but the last three have been just ok to meh. Ross was a piece of crap dude.
