it doesn't reappear at shingles. I'd guess you probably know someone that's had it, but it's not something anyone would probably share.

When I turned 50 Dr advised me to wait until 60 to get the 1st shingles vax & 70 for the 2nd. Idk why. Anyone else know?

I got the vaccine after I got Shingles, as you can get it multiple times

my wife got shingles, and it looked so painful, I went right out and got the vaccine to avoid that possibility myself
