The NCAA is a monopoly. Creating a competitor to the NCAA is not anti-competitive to me--in fact you could make the argument it creates more competition. The remaining NCAA schools would still have a national championship, all the bowls, the basketball tournament, all the history, etc, etc. The Big 10 and SEC would create a separate, competing brand.
