It’s pretty clear that Pope is trying to train up overlooked athletic guys.
I really liked Rose’s philosophy better though. That’s BYU’s bread and butter and it has worked well. Even Pope has great success with those teams in his early years. Pope added to that formula the defensive discipline that Roses teams lacked.
I want more teams like in 2020. Such fun basketball.
