It's funny to me because Big12 didn't have to take BYU. They could have probably been fine focusing on going

East or even more Midwest/South. But they took BYU, and now PAC is paying the price for snubbing BYU for decades. PAC would be in a much better bargaining position today if they had taken BYU when they had the chance. But their egos just wouldn't allow that.
